Harmoni Etika: Titik Temu Nilai-nilai Kristiani dan Wasathiyah Muhammadiyah
Abstract
Abstract. This research is motivated by the importance of building the social harmony in a multicultural society through an interfaith ethical approach. The main objective of this study is to explore the intersection of ethical values between Christian teachings and the principles of Wasathiyah Islam within the Muhammadiyah movement. This research was conducted by a qualitative method with a literature review approach, utilizing a comparative theological perspective and interfaith dialogue theory. The result showed that the values of justice, compassion, tolerance, and social responsibility form the shared ethical foundation between Christianity and Wasathiyah Islam.
Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya membangun harmoni sosial di tengah masyarakat multikultural melalui pendekatan etika lintas agama. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi titik temu nilai-nilai etika antara ajaran Kristen dan prinsip Wasathiyah Islam dalam gerakan Muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka dengan menggunakan perspektif teologi komparatif dan teori dialog antaragama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keadilan, kasih, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab sosial menjadi landasan etika bersama antara kekristenan dan wasathiyah Islam.
