Ekologi Integral dalam Aktivitas Menganyam Noken

Abstract

Abstract. Integral ecology is one of Pope Francis' offers through the Encyclical Laudato Si', to care for the earth that is sick due to irresponsible human activities resulting from the paradigms of androcentrism, patriarchy, and anthropocentrism. Pope Francis offers a new habitus, a vision that takes into account all aspects of the global crisis that includes human and social dimensions. This offer should be realized in the lives of people and society. The widows "Homisoge" in Yumugima are a group of women who are also fighting against injustice due to the influence of the patriarchal cultural system. The form of their struggle is through the activity of weaving Noken. They are also called to implement integral ecology, as well as a form of resistance to patriarchal cultural practices that exploit their bodies. This study uses a descriptive analysis method, with an ecofeminist perspective approach. The purpose of this study is to describe the narrative of the activity of weaving Noken by widows in Yumugima as a form of integral ecology according to the Encyclical Laudato Si, while at the same time analyzing its ecofeminist elements.

Abstrak. Ekologi integral merupakan salah satu tawaran Paus Fransiskus melalui Ensiklik Laudato Si’ untuk merawat bumi yang sedang sakit karena aktivitas manusia yang tidak bertanggung jawab akibat paradigma androsentrisme, patriarki, dan antroposentris. Paus Fransiskus menawarkan suatu habitus baru, visi yang memperhitungkan semua aspek dari krisis global yang mencakup dimensi manusiawi dan sosial. Tawaran ini hendaknya terwujud dalam kehidupan umat dan masyarakat. Para perempuan janda “Homisoge” di Yumugima merupakan kelompok perempuan yang juga sedang berjuang melawan ketidakadilan akibat pengaruh sistem budaya patriarkal. Bentuk perjuangan mereka adalah melalui aktivitas menganyam Noken. Mereka pun dipanggil untuk melaksanakan ekologi integral, sekaligus sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap praktik budaya patriarkal yang mengeksploitasi tubuh mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan perspektif ekofeminis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan narasi aktivitas menganyam Noken oleh para janda di Yumugima sebagai salah satu bentuk ekologi integral menurut Ensiklik Laudato Si, sekaligus menganalisa unsur-unsur ekofeminisnya.
