PRINSIP-PRINSIP PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU PAK DALAM MENGHADAPI PERKEMBANGAN KARIER BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI

Abstract

Teacher’s competence is very required in behaving technology based career development. UU No. 20 Year 2003 about National Educational System says, “Education is a planned and conscious effort to realize learning situation and process in order student develops his self potential actively to gain religious spiritual power, self control, personality, cleverness, noble character, and skill which is needed by himself, society, nation and country”. Based on that Law, teacher is expected can bring students evolving their self potensial in every aspect as maximum as possible, so that students will work for their self, society, nation and country.

Teacher’s competence determine student success. Besides, teacher must be able to respond every age’s challenge and technology progress. Teacher is expected to be capable in using technology infrastructure within teaching Christian Religion Education.

Technology-based career becomes an opportunity for Christian Religion Education teacher, employing science to increase good and right teaching quality with biblical Christian value. Teacher can make student to be a faithful, clever, skillful, and bearing authoritative person.
