YESUS SEBAGAI GURU AGUNG

Abstract


Essentially, implementing Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia is an effort of educational element to edify life’s quality and social condition of nation as people who has God and dignity. It is said that implementing and developing of Curriculum 2013 is not only related to quality of education, but also quality of nation’s life in generally. The destination of all learning process through holding education which based on implementation Curriculum 2013 is to increase student’s life quality, that is increasing good and proper knowledge, skill, and attitude (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) at school. Thereby, student is expected could play role to build social order and better civilized.

So, the course of holding education is not only to increase self quality, but also for wider interest, that is developing better society, nation, and state quality. Thereby, there is personal quality increasing dimension of student for gaining social life quality, which also determined by teacher’s quality.

The main and prime thing to determine successful of education which based on Curriculum 2013 is teacher. Teacher has to have important things such as: (1) fulfilling professional, pedagogical, social competence, and good personality; (2) able to facilitate or good mentoring student in learning process, able to motivate student with life example.

The teacher’s criteria given above about fulfilling professional, pedagogical, social, and personal competence has been existed and belonged to Jesus as Great Teacher. Thus, Jesus gave mandate to every believer for going to whole of the world  and teaching every people about God’s love of gospel. This mandate has become a foundation for every believer to get responsibility about Christian Religion Education.
